Air France Frequence Plus - Another new AF Website

Went to AF.fr this morning and they have (again) completely changed their website - this time... I really like it!!!!

Very simple and clear with immediate infor about my FB account and easy access to the Check-in and booking screens - wait for the bugs, but so far, really good (sorry I don't know how to link in a print screen).

I'm getting the old one so I wonder if you are getting a randomly assigned test version?

I'm getting the old one so I wonder if you are getting a randomly assigned test version?

Of course many of the bugs are still there (actually the same ones as before), but credit where credit is due to a web design that is good on both estethic and functional aspects.

A nice change tho it looks just like Delta.con reskinned.

It's indeed a very nice redesign, a lot better than the old "interim" one (I'm calling it interim as it didn't last that long).

Don't know if it works well but it is indeed nice and sleek.
At long last AF is moving from an antiquated presentation to a modern one. Let's hope that the functionalities are also improved.

It looks modern, but when checking my reservations, I'm scared to see something in RED, that means usually troubles, but on AF's site that means all ok. I'd prefer that they put keywords like confirmed in green instead of red! At DL schedule changes are red.

That is a bit unfair. There are many things about AF that I would give four thumbs up for. But they tend to be isolated things that really stand out, without any drawback or "flip side of the coin". Just like here: the design of the homepage is ^^^^, but the overall website experience is ^ at best because of its many bugs, its structure, it not being constantly updated and how many things are hidden and not well presented once you go one or two levels deeper.

And since usually I don't focus on small isolated things here in this forums but more on the overall picture, patterns and trends I indeed have fewer opportunities to show four thumbs up. Along the same lines, I hardly post about individual anecdotes because they can be outlyers, both positive and negative. I can tell a number of really horrific stories about AF that would be :td::td::td::td: and a number of absolutely fantastic ones that are truly ^^^^. But these are isolated datapoints, and the general pattern is more ^^.

Let's hope that the functionalities are also improved.

No, they're the same. It's a facade-thing: same content, just looking better (like some old houses in Paris: scaffolding done every couple of years to look nice, but the sanitary installations inside can be from the 1960s)

I've still a problem with the AF-Site: I must always enter my Flying Blue Passcode twice. When I enter the Passcode the first time, airfrance.de only reload. Then I have to enter the Number again and I can log in.

1) Same here with airfrance.fr

I told them quite some time ago, but nothing has changed. :td: so I keep having to enter my FB and password twice...

2) This morning, I noticed that I was recognised with a Welcome Mr Canarvon, but both boxes for FB number and password were still showing and were empty...

3) Another (unrelated) glitch. I have just booked a CDG/BHX/CDG. The confirmation of booking states that change fee is .... € 50 (not €70).

Had the same issue some time ago when I wanted to change a booking. They wanted to charge € 70, but since I had been given the info that it was € 50, they charged € 50 only.

Here too, nothing seems to have changed. No big deal, but it should not happen, should it?

That was myfirst impression too, but after a close inspection they are not that similar.

When I was checking in for my tatl, I had to manually enter my passport data even thiugh they were in my profile. On the previous it was integrated.
