Club Carlson - Points+Cash for Big Night Giveaway?

Can anyone confirm that Points+Cash reservations qualify for the 50,000 bonus points awarded for staying at a Radisson as part of the Big Night Giveaway promotion? Anyone have first hand experience?

And is it cost effective? I'm looking at a $109/night room vs $65.40+10k points.

If you prefere c+p over a fully paid cash rate is your own decision, the value is probably not the best, but I tend to use it this way, if I have a limit to hit and prefere to add points to a booking to reach the goal (and got reimbursed by my company). If you have a lot of points and do not care, it is also easier than if the 10k pts were the only ones in your account.

(I am not so much into valueing the points into money)

Yes, they qualify.

Cost effective? It depends on how many points you have and such. I always use C+P (and/or just P) when I'm paying out of my pocket..then again, I have close to a million points so whatever I can save over the regular rate is worth it.
