EL AL Matmid - ELAL FAs voted most beautiful in the world... or perhaps not?

Was expecting to see many hot FAs...

Actually this is one point I do have to give El Al. Certainly better than the 65 year old FAs you usually find on AA, for example.

I couldn't agree more... there were several on the MAD-TLV flight this morning.

Y'all ever flown TG, CX, SQ, 9W, IT, OZ, NH?

Personally I think MEA have some of the best looking crew around and they certainly flaunt it on their website!...The Levant is home to lots of beauty indeed.

They honestly are smoking. Bar Refaeli comes to mind when I fly El Al and see the flight attendants. Its also nice, unlike on delta their attendants are small enough to walk down the isle without bumping into you... (serious plus!)

Of course beauty is in the eye of the beholder but I have to say, in my three million miles of travel, on El AL as well, I have never told a F/A they were beautiful except only on one airline, Singapore Airlines. My preference is the Mediterranean type, but as a group, the SQ ladies are beautiful.

that's a massive exaggeration, yes there are some very attractive FAs at LY but the majority are not anymore, and I say anymore because they used to be a far higher number of good looking stewardesses with LY, as many other airlines to be honest.

to say they that most of them remind you of Bar Refaelie is either and exaggeration of the highest order, or you somehow manage to pick the flights with the best looking woman on LY, in which case please let me know what they are... :D

having said the above, LY still have far better looking cabin crews than the likes of BA for example where I sometimes wonder whether they have gone out and recruited and entire geriatric ward...

She hadn't even served once during the flight from LHR to TLV nor had I spoken to her, but when we landed and as I was leaving the aircraft to walk onto the steps (this must have been about 12-13 years ago) she was one of the cabin crew standing by the door and she handed me a note, which at first (and before looking at it) I thought it was some greeting card for Rosh Hashanah (as it was just approaching) that they were handing out to all passengers, but then I realised I was the only one so I actually looked at it and it had her name and number on it... :)

I refuse to fly LY but I will give them a point on this one. There are a disproportionate number of good-looking women in Israel so the numbers are in their favour. :p

Personally I don't get the seeming obsession with SQ FAs. I don't think the kebaya is the right uniform for a Singapore airline and I've met maybe one SQ FA who I thought was good looking over a few dozen flights and walking around SIN. I've discussed this with a couple of Singaporean friends and we all agree on the subject. Obviously I don't really care about how they look but is this just a case of slick marketing or do only Westerners think SQ FAs are really good looking?

I was always mesmerised by CX FAs... but that might be just part of my overall obsession with CX and Hong Kong in general since I was a kid.

VS also tend to have an extremely high number of good looking FAs (if you like that kind of dolly bird/Essex girl look...).

I don't really see it based on those photographs. Regarding Middle East Airlines, I don't think that many here would know much about them as they don't overlap with El Al at many airports. I remember when El Al flew to Larnaca and MEA would be across from our security and check-in counters on the other side of the terminal, but I never saw the crew while there.

Beauty is indeed in the eye of the beholder. While in TLV last year I can say beauties indeed abound on the ground at least(I flew BA not El Al)...but I can't agree there are not some real beauties in those MEA pics.

As I said, the Levant is home to many beautiful things besides cedars and stars;)
