Has anyone ever heard of this amazon lodge? I am looking for an affordable option for an Amazon tour out of Manaus, yet on the rio Negro to avoid the bugs, and came across this. So difficult to see what type of place it is, and if it will suit my (and the wife for sure!) standards. It's pros are AC (another thing my wife has requested:(!) and prices. I am a four star type of guy, but hate blowing 2k on a four day trip.
Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated as well.
