Is this a possible routing? I have to take a trip LAX - DEN and I hope to gobble down some miles if possible.
Where is the appropriate place to look?
Expertflyer shows the following but I dont know if its a bookable routing.
US 796 0 LAX
07/22/12 11:00 AM PHL
07/22/12 7:15 PM 321
US 993 0 PHL

While you are in ExpertFlyer, you can pull up the fare rules, and then click on the icon in the middle on the right side - those are the routing rules. The routing rules vary by fare, but here is one example:

TRAVEL MUST NOT BE NONSTOP
The last line shows legal routings - the only routing that works for this fare is a connection through Phoenix. Some other fares require nonstop flights.
I kinda doubt that PHL would be a legal connection point, but stranger things have happened.
you can use multicity to see if it works....
