Qantas Frequent Flyer - QF status credit on Jetstar NZ Domestic flights?

I’m looking at booking a flight to WEL from AKL on Jetstar. The fares are very attractive $39 each way with an option of paying an additional $15 each way for no change fees and to earn Qantas frequent flyer points and status credits.

Does anyone know how man SC points I will get each way on this route?

Thanks,
Kris

IME they do not always post automatically.
You will need to chase them up via online claim if they do not post within 7 days.
Note I found it interesting that you can either claim points or a $10 voucher.

I did an AKL/WLG and WLG/AKL flight on JQ last month. One flight I received points/SCs automatically, yet the second flight I had to claim via the QF website as it didn't post automatically

You get 1000 QF points and 10 status credits. I fly AKL/WLG frequently (at least once a week) and every now and then take Jetstar if there is a sale on and the times work. Maybe once a month on average. Always pay the extra $15 for the points and credit as it has always struck me as a cost-efficient accumulation method. However I've never thought about it too hard - do others have any thoughts?

About 75% of the time the points post automatically but do keep checking and following up if they don't.

Genrally as WLG based I used to take JQ and show up just before boarding starts so no loss of Koru Club access.
From AKL back to WLG I tend to be at the airport earlier and used the Arkana Lounge, which will be closing soon, so I did not miss the lack of Koru Club access either.
The short flight between WLG-AKL there really is not much difference now between NZ or JQ, except if I want to use my laptop it is nearly impossible on JQ but just managable on NZ Space+, however that is rare now.
I of course rated QF NZ domestic above both JQ and NZ and sadly miss this service.:(
Oh I always get the Plus bundle now, as it really is better value for me over Starter and anything NZ offers.

Same experience. Six sectors, four on one day. two of those four credited within 2 days, the others required follow-up.

Very pleased as I used 3x $100 'free' vouchers from 3K during Xmas sale to buy 6 sectors WLG-AKL-WLG & WLG-AKL-CHC-AKL-WLG for less than $50 each (including the 'plus' package). So managed to earn 6,000 points and 60 SC for nix - apart from the time taken to fly them all. :D:D
