Hi all, apologies for the newbie question but I didn't have any luck searching for the answer. We'll be flying from Cusco to Lima and then on to Buenos Aires but after a time change the connection is down to 1.5 hours. I'm curious if we'll be able to check our bags in Cusco direct to Buenos Aires, or if we'll have to collect them and check in again. If we have to collect them, do you think 1.5 hours is enough? I'm guessing we don't have any customs to factor until we arrive in Argentina.

We're in Premium Business if that makes any difference. Thanks in advance for any advice you could give!

Welcome to the LANPASS forum

1) I suspect you will be able to check your bags right through to BsAs
2) 1.5 hours is plenty, you filter off the immigration queue, go back through security and get sent back upstairs. 20 mins tops

The domestic baggage claim area is pretty small and tiny at LIMA - only a few baggage claim belts and rental car desks. I don't recall any transfer desks there, but it's pretty easy to connect there. You shouldn't have any trouble. When we were through there last year, there weren't any lines at security, customs or anything like that (on both the domestic and international sides).

The time should be fine, but the order is reversed: go upstairs, then security and then immigration.
