bmi diamond club - Silver with Both BMI and BA

Tried to find an answer to this, but could not get a definitive yes or no, so if anyone could advise I would appreciate it :)

I am silver status with both EC and DC - can I combine or merge these to get gold?

Shame. Combine two silvers to gold, match them against each other, combine those two golds again, become BA premier. I would like that. :D

Turning Silver and Silver into Gold is the Holy Grail - Status Alchemy! :)

Although it could give rise to some unwanted results in that combining Premier and Premier could maybe backfire and achieve purest Blue...?

In an attempt to turn a negative into a positive..if you maintain your flying habits (assuming you flew BMI to gain silver and now other *A carriers) then next year you should get gold BA :)

As another positive...Silver is almost as good as gold on BA IMHO..so I wouldn't sweat too much in any event :)
