Credit Card Programs - What card gives you best insurance / peace of mind when traveling?

So many of the conversations here have centered around the best bang-for-the-buck re: points and cash back, but I'm getting old and risk-averse and now getting more interested in peace of mind :-)
For instance, I'm finding it a bit overwhelming trying to decide which cards to charge, say, airline tickets or hotel reservations to. Which cards, in your opinion, can best offer:
Support/reimbursements re: delayed or lost luggage
Help when you're stranded at the airport (leverage with airlines to get you on the next flight out, reimbursement for hotel costs, etc.)
Support when your hotel is overbooked
Other support or reimbursements that I've not listed above
I started thinking about this because, for example, on a $3000 itinerary, the difference between 1% (e.g., Amex Platinum) and 2% (e.g., Chase Sapphire Preferred) cash back / rewards points is a mere $30... and I imagine that -- even just statistically speaking -- I may be much better off with greater protections vs. that extra cash.
Eager to hear your thoughts on this!

Ragnarok, thanks! Have you actually had occasion to use the card for any of that, and if so, was it easy to access the benefits?
Primary discussion thread is here:

Note that this card requires a substantial banking relationship with Chase.
So, how about we repeat the OP's question, but limited to cards that are publicly available?

JP Morgan Palladium card is available to anyone who wants to become a private banking of Chase private client customer. No different than how some credit unions allow anyone to join if they meet certain requirements, such as joining a PTA or group like the National Space Society.

The benefits are also available to the JP Morgan Select Card
$95 Annual fee, much easier to apply, ( you can even request a product change from the Sapphire Preferred )
As for whether it is easy to access the benefits, I haven't have experience with them yet.
For benefits that are of reimbursement nature, I believe you will simply buy what you need during the trip / baggage delay , retain documentation and file a claim with Chase afterwards.
The benefits are also available to the JP Morgan Select Card

Hmm, I have to say I'm a bit surprised to only hear about the JP Morgan card in this thread. I expected more feedback re: the Amex Platinum and Chase Sapphire Preferred cards. Sure, those are two I happen to have, but I figured they were pretty popular ;-)
No one else has experiences with travel-related reimbursements or benefits from various credit cards other than the JPM one? :o

I imagine for someone in such a situation having experts help with (and cover most (some?) of the cost) it can be a godsend.

I suppose I as the cardholder will not know, in such a case. And I probably won't be able to post about it afterwards on FT.
