OK. This year completed half a dozen LanColombia (L7) flights to compare with over a dozen LanPeru (LP) domestic segments, so an unbiased comparison follows.
LP has far prettier / handsome FAs than L7. Now you know how unbiased this review will be :-) :D.
LP flights were on time (one late due to LIM airport problems) and L7 flights were on time... or left early eek (one late due to BOG airport problem).
LP only once welcomed me by name (aka Comodoro); L7 always welcomed me by name (but once I had to send the in-charge to the back to welcome a certain lowly Premium Silver compadre who will remain nameless).
LP served endless quality Cusquena (free) beer on all domestic flights (as early as 09:30 eek), L7 does NOT serve beer domestically.
Snacks: LP served snackbox with crackers, a yummy keke, and an excellent premium chocolate treat; L7 only dry peanuts and a tiny panelita (tho I will admit very tasty). LP snack was served with water, Coca Cola, delicious Inka Cola, a choice of juices, coffee; L7 served water or coffee. Did I mention LP serves beer, L7 does not.
LP serves rich delicious hot Altamayo coffee; L7 serves only Juan Valdez brown water.
All my LP flights on A319s, roomy comfortable clean; L7 used A320 and 737. Found the 737 slightly smaller overhead bin and slightly smaller bum space. I sit 1A for the view. L7 one 737 1A window was so pitted I couldn't see anything below, the other was spotless clean tho.
LP passengers were all well-dressed civilized polite and friendly folk; L7 were an unruly bunch, (probably because L7 does NOT serve beer) and the L7 flights were full of screaming babies... well, maybe perchance I exaggerate a wee bit. YMMV :D:D:D

LP serves real coffee on domestic but Juan Valdez brown water in international J? WFT? I have seriously considered carrying a small french press with me and a small container of coffee and just asking for some hot water!

Given that you comment both on the prettiness of the female FAs and the handsomeness of the male FAs I think your post can be accepted as unbiased - or cosmopolitan at least ;)

So are you saying that if you don't keep Latinos/as well lubricated with free alcohol they turn into a rabble of horny breeders? Maybe China should try free beer as a method to promulgate the 1 child policy.

:D I could send you a small bottle of Altamayo instant... that is what they use anyway, scientifically measured by the cap full.

I think that 737 with a "pitted" window as you called it was one of their new A320s and not a 737. Unless of course you are sure it was a 737, but I think I came back from MDE on the same A320 last week.
The peanuts are actually "mixed nuts" and even have macadamias in them
I got invited by Juan Valdez to do what they called a customer reference last week and was asked to give my feedback on their product and outlet.
For the coffee quality I chose "Malo" then for my comment added "Guácala"
Then in the box that said "¿Cómo podríamos mejorar la experiencia para usted?" I wrote "Podrían mandar el café a Italia para tostarlo mejor por favor"
I am sure we will see results within a few short days.
Interesting you mention beer and your seat preference, last time I flew in 1L there was a dribbly old gringo sat in seat 1A that was repeatedly requesting beer and telling the FA that "they have it on LAN Peru" I am sure it wasn't you though, as a Comodoro one wouldn't expect you to hold the refreshments service up for the rest of the passengers with your stupid questions.
Lan Peru does have some pretty FA's. What you failed to mention though is that LAN Colombia FAs are universally substantially hornier. I have my own personal FA now (As a lowly Premium Silver)

Now, now, cheer up. Soon you will meet those lower Lan Colombia requirements (For Comodoro, Volando 50.000 kms. y 4 segmentos LAN en cabina Premium Business) and get all those extra bonus kms you guys in Colombia can earn, double on some routes right now! Use them to come fly on LanPeru! :D

You know for a country that produces some of the most amazing looking women in the world, I've always been surprised by the averageness of Colombian FAs. Why can't Avianca (I love the red ruana, sorry Aires/LAN Colombia) hire at least a few Maleja Restrepo lookalikes?
Seriously though, I'd be more worried who is up front on your LAN Colombia flight. If we're talking Aires pilots flying planes with shiny new coats of Chilean paint and manuals where the only thing that changed was the name of the airline on the title page, then run, don't walk, to the AV ticket counter.

Why, because the Pudahuel Overlords haven't been in control for too long. As you know, flying LA to SCL allows one to see a representative example of the typical chileno/a, where almost everyone is white, albeit some have a nice tan, slender, and actually looks decent in a FA outfit. When flying LP, one will also note that people are mostly white, although they tend to be a bit darker than the average LA FA, and the male FAs are tall, too. It is only when one lands and sees the plane cleaners @ LIM that one gets the slightest clue that the onboard crew isn't necessarily what one sees on the ground.

It's because they have hubs in Bogotá and the hotties are mainly "Paisas" i.e. come from Antioquia, Risaralda, Caldas and Quindío. Bogotanas have lovely hair, and buttocks like two small rocks in a pillowcase. Paisas all seem to have descended from just one family of overwhelmingly attractive Europeans. Viva Colombia has a hub in Medellín, you should try them. As they say in Colombia. "Llevar la novia a Medellín es tan tonto como llevar leña al bosque"

Think on it, would LAN bet their reputation on a coat of paint applied to a shonky airline that they picked up for $38 million? They have been re-trained from the ground up and it took them a year to do it. Aires' terrible maintenance record has been put to bed too. Even before the coat of paint, complaints about Aires had dropped 80%. Aires has been completely LANificated.

No doubt they are inspiration for many of Fernando's works. :D
