Qantas Frequent Flyer - Red Roo Answer Please?

Why have all my recent QF domestic flights and 2 Jet Connect to NZ had their safety video volume so uncomfortably loud?....so people pay attention, compensate for the hearing impared or what?

It's very annoying for a normal hearing pax!:confused:

To drown out all the people continuing their conversation during the demonstration.
I know what you mean by the volume I need to take off my headphones or I would have hearing damage.
PS. Have you tried logging a comment to QF direct or a pm to Red Roo as that would be the best method to get a response fromt he right people.

A flight attendant who is going deaf ?

They can easily adjust the volume

I’ll pass it on to in-flight entertainment and see if there is anything that can be done. It may have something to do with everyone in the aircraft being able to hear (and being closer to the speaker will be louder??).

I can assurre you on each occasion Ive experienced this most of the passengers around me have also reacted with same discomfort..wether under a speaker or not.
