HI everybody
i am just looking for some suggestions, will be going to Thailand for 5 days this coming August, solo traveler for the first time (kind unusual for me)
..i would like to basically veg out and not do anything(posib min effort) this time...so am aiming at some quite resorts....looking to split the time between BKK and CNX but not necessary

for CNX was aiming at CHEDI Club? any other suggestions?

for BKK am split between MO and Pen? but would love to hear if there are any other suggestions?...have always stayed riverside in my previous visits

anybody knows of a good foodie tour in bkk?

thanks in advance!

With only 5 days I wouldn't bother going to both. I'd say pick one or the other. Why deal with the hassle of airport, flights, check out and check in for such a short period?

Excellent advice G ! I hope the OP knows that Aug is a very very rainy month in Thailand. Lots more to do indoors in BKK. wj

How is the weather in July/August?

Was wondering about CNX but can't seem to get a consensus on the weather. I know it's rainy season, but does it rain heavily for half an hour or does it just rain for hours at a time?

Why only 5 days anyway if you are coming from New York? A few more days in Thailand does not cost that much more. Use a cheaper hotel if you are tight for money.
