Dear Friends,

I have a connection at MRU to RUN.

First flight : AF CDG/MRU AF operated ; second flight : MRU/RUN AF codeshared, Air Mauritius operated.

The layover is 3 hours.

Shall I stay airside and avoid immigration + customs ?

Yes, you will stay airside but have to go to the transfer desk and security check before heading to the boarding lounge.
Another tip, DO NOT buy duty free items such as alcohol or perfumes in Paris. These items will be automatically confiscated, even if they are sealed in a bag.

Thank you very much for your very informative answer.

I did not know that duty free items would face such a fate !

About transfer desk, is there a sky priority lane ? should I have to ask something at their desk if my BP is already printed ?

Actually, my Reunion Island fellows and myself think that Mauritius airport prefers that you spend money in his own airport.

The transfer desk is really small. Even if your BP from MRU to RUN is already printed, you still have to go through that desk. I still don't understand the reason why. No priority lane unless tight connection.

I hope the queue at this desk is not too long (I travel Alize, I suppose we deplane through the front door) !

Last time I flew to RUN was 17 years ago (and MRU more than 20 !).
