Credit Card Programs - Co-brand Credit Cards for Asia incl. Singapore

Wonder why there are no credit cards that co-brands with hotels/airlines in Asia.

I stay in Singapore and there are absolutely no co-branded cards for hotels or airlines compared to our western counterparts.

So far I only saw Krisflyer (Singapore Airlines) co-branded Amex card.

As this is about credit cards and not destination-specific, it will be moved to a more appropriate Forum.
