I know that there are a few folks on here who are FitBit enthusiasts, so I'm looking for anyone else that has the Fuel Band.
I've been using it for about 2 months now, and it really does, for me, motivate me to get off the couch and move.
Anyone?

I guess not :)
How does this differ from the fit bit?
I said in the other thread about the fit bit, I'll get one once it measures a little more than just velocity so it would include more of my workout items (biking, weight lifting, etc).

Apparently not.
From what I can see, the major way it differs from the FitBit is that you wear this on your wrist, so it will pick up activities like weight lifting or calisthenics.
Nike say it's not going to work for cycling, but I've seen people wearing it on their ankle while riding, so it could work.

I'd think without heart rate and/or some sort of measurement like body temp(?) that its a pretty big swag to calc weight lifting from a accelerometer on your wrist.
I really like the idea of these type of gadgets and think they work wonderfully for some....I just want something a little more sophisticated.. I think they will come soon.
The fuel band has a pretty multi-coloured display! (that may be the biggest difference...)

I've seen some friends posting pics of these on Facebook recently and I have to say they look awesome - they got theirs free from Nike at a running event in London.
I looked into getting one for the Mrs, but must admit to being put off by the price tag - circa £130.
What do you make of yours? Totally hooked and love it?

I'll say that it serves as a great motivator to get me off my butt. Last night, I was feeling lazy, but I knew that I was on a 4 day streak of hitting my goal. So, at 10:45pm, not wanting to break the streak, I went to the gym and worked out for an hour in order to hit my goal and keep the streak alive.
To me, the motivation to get off the couch on days I don't really feel like it is worth the $150.
