Other Middle East and Africa Frequent Flyer Programs - SAA Voyager or keep LH Miles & More

I am silver LH Miles & More member. I am moving to South Africa to live there and wondering if I should keep my Miles & More card to travel on SAA or get an brand new SAA Voyager card. Let me know your thoughts/experience

I would say a lot depends on your future travel pattern, how much you are going to fly and on which airlines.
As a LH silver, flying on SA you have fewer benefits than as SA silver. So if you expect to fly SA locally and clock up enough miles to get to silver on SA, it's probably best to start the change process. If you expect to only fly LH to Germany, stay with LH.
Also check earning and burning rates on both programmes, I have not taken that into consideration. But in principle: *Silver is generally useless on a carrier other than the one that issued your card...
