Hi All,

As a long time FlyerTalk member thought I would share my new website with you.

www.floridathoughts.co.uk

Everything you need to plan, book and enjoy an Orlando theme park holiday. There are sections on Flights, Car Hire, Hotels, Villas and reviews for all the theme parks and rides.

Hope it helps.

Phil

Phil,
This is a very good resource. Congratulations on a good job. It you want to add to it in the future, a section on tipping would be very helpful for foreign visitors who are not used to our tipping customs.

Thanks for the comments Vic, much appreciated. Will certainly add a section in tipping.

Looks like a good resource.

It appears that you allude to it, but one thing you might mention in quite stark terms: People from much of Europe and the UK often have no idea how debilitating 95 degree weather with 95% humidity can be.

At Disneyworld I met a couple once whose red-haired fair-skinned daughter was collapsing from heatstroke and they did not recognize the symptoms. It could have been catastrophic.

Good point.

Conversely, many people think Florida is always hot. Yet we have had several December, January visits to WDW where we've had to buy sweatshirts, hats and gloves for the kids because it got so cold - especially in the evenings.

I guess the moral is be prepared for both extremes.

Out of curiosity, I checked the all-time high temperature in England.

It is 101 degrees F.

We've been just a hair under that in Chicagoland for 4 days straight, and if you are not used to it, it can just wipe you out.
