Next week I'll have flown 300 times with A3 after enrolling in the M&B programme. This number does not include flights credited to M&B but flown with other *A partners, neither does it include any of my A3 flights before joining M&B. Of the 300 flights, 133 were during the last 3.5 years, i.e. after I jumped ship from FB when the latter dramatically changed its rules and A3 announced that it was going to join *A. The remaining 167 ones, all domestic, were during the six years before that, and 55 of those were before I became a Gold member in 2005. At any rate, all of these "statistics" don't mean much (other than I have nothing better to do at the moment), and that of the 300 flights there were fewer than ten that caused me some grief for whatever reason. In other words, all in all, a pretty nice and reliable airline. The only consistantly "weak point" is that, every time I do an OLCI, usually very early, their system always automatically assigns seat 5E to me. Go figure…

We all knew you were the A3 master but now we have the numbers to prove it! ^

As for the 5E seat assignment I can find several reasonable explanations. It may be
* Leetspeek (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leet) for 5uper-Elite?
* your favourite network cable?
* you had something to do with the name change of interstate 5E in sacramento in 1958?
* you were the proud owner of an Audi 100 5E (http://www.nostalgibilar.se/70-tal/Audi%20100%20L%205E%201978..jpg) back in the 70's?

Good to hear. I'm curious, but do you credit your miles to A3, or to one of the other *A carriers? I could see the benefits of either, but I'm curious how their 'actual' frequent fliers feel.
