More CX IT crashes or so I thought. Just off the phone with very sympathetic MPC agent (I'm DM) but nothing they can do as "HK airport has taken over all CI functions and thus OLCI is disabled". She advised to try again tonight but said most likely will have to checkin at airport or HK Stn on Sunday. Not to get conspiratorial and no doubt this "glitch" is just a coincidence, but for those of you who follow politics the grand poo-bah Communist of the PRC is in HK this weekend and the city is on police-lockdown for the "celebration" of the 15th anniversary of Britain's giveaway of this colony to the Communists -- oh Maggie you fell for their tricks way back when; but I digress.

He leaves Monday I believe so hopefully back to normal. The PLA choppers buzzing around are rather annoying too. If you are in town avoid Wan Chai and the area around the HKCEC and the Grand Hyatt (Commies like the high life too!) where they have bought out the entire property.

Kudos to CX MPC staff; they just called me to apologise and let me know that the OLCI has "been put back online by the airport".

Conspiracists can still mull this one; but looks more like usual CX IT / Flight Control ping pong glitch.

Nice of MPC team to follow-up personally.

MMB works fine for me now. However, could the shut down of OLCI be related to Doksuri (instead of the Communists)? https://www.cathaypacific.com/cpa/en_INTL/helpingyoutravel/traveladvisories?CX_LANGUAGE=en&refID=334172535c138310VgnVCM1000000ad21c39____&CX_COUNTRY=INTL&) Also, next time, when you have a website problem, I will suggest you to call the e-service centre instead of MPO, as MPO agents are outsourced PCCW workers who can't help you directly on that.

OLCI still doesn't work. I'm leaving Sunday too with a client, this is going to suck.

Wirelessly posted (iPhone 4: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 5_1_1 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/534.46 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1 Mobile/9B206 Safari/7534.48.3)

Or call reservation office. I found taipei exceptional in terms of wait queue to pick up the phone.

I think the whole MMB was down today for a while as I want to check my flight without success, for an ex TPE iten.

My mobile network (3HK) went offline for about an hour around midday too. I'm sure everyone here knows why... ;)
