Hertz - Explorer at MCO?

Hi,
I am Hertz PC and rent a few times a year ex MCO for holidays. I usually book/rent LRAR and more often then not end up with a Tahoe or Yukon but last time had a Traverse which I wasn't that fussed on.
I noticed while driving about the new Ford Explorers and really liked the look of them, and according to the Vehicle list they seem to be classed as a SFAR.
I can't honestly say I have seen many Fords at MCO and I am slightly concerned if I booked SFAR I would end up with an Equinox, which is not what I want.
So, does anyone know if Hertz have any/many Explorers in the fleet and if I book LRAR (same price as SFAR on a UK prepay rate) and ask at the Gold counter what my chances of getting one would be?
Thanks in advance.

According to the fleet list, LRAR is an Infiniti FX35 in the Prestige Collection
If you meant "LWAR" which is Luxury SUV (the Yukon Denali) then if you end up in a Tahoe or standard Yukon then that's a downgrade... a Traverse (FRAR) is a 3-class downgrade
Maybe I'm missing something, but if you book the higher class then if they have a particular vehicle in a lower class that you'd prefer to have (i.e. the Explorer) I'm sure they'd be more than willing to downgrade you for free. Although if it has Sirius or NeverLost, you can expect them to ask you to pay for that. I wouldn't count on getting one particular type when booking a category with a broad range of vehicles, so your safer bet is the higher one, even as a PC (higher class offered = more leverage for you).

Sorry, I was being stupid, I usually booked FRAR (Traverse) and end up with a FFAR (Tahoe/Yukon).
The price for FRAR (Traverse) & SFAR (Equinox) is the same, so makes no difference which I book, would just rather have an Explorer rather than a Traverse.

That makes a lot more sense :) Still you might as well book the higher class. It's (normally) easier to downgrade than it is to upgrade.

Hi. I have booked SFAR out of MCO for 18 days in July. I took a look at the fleet list for Hertz and the Jeep Cherokee looks the best. Would you agree and would it be worth giving the MCO office a call to see if they would keep one for me. Thanks
I just rented in MCO as a gold. I had reserved a standard car and found a Jeep Cherokee sitting in my spot when I got there.
It wasn't that comfortable, and sucked up gas like crazy - and we didn't go very far at all for a long weekend.
I did not notice what other SUVs they may have had - it was late and the lot was pretty empty.
