looking on AZ site and on "prenotazione premio" RODI is not listed as a destination even though AZ fly there (note AZ not AP) ex FCO

Anybody know why? Is it bookable via call centre?

Simple: because it's FCO-ATH on AZ, and the second leg to Rhodes on OA. And since the latter is not a Skyteam airline and the flight is not a code-share, you get your answer!

Maybe Terminalfive is referring to those flights that are being operated for a few weekends in July/August, AZ730-AZ731.
I wouldn't be surprised if they're not loaded into the awards inventory.

Those probably are charters, which I doubt will ever be available for award redemptions.

Yes - I'm refering to AZ730 - direct flights ex FCO...
They are scedulded and have both Y and J... Annoying this

Probably on such a leisure-based flight they didn't want to open up the U/Z fares related to awards.
