Hi,

Im planning a connection in Boston around the Late October to Mid November time frame, should I be worrying about weather delays/cancellations? I would be coming from IAD (Dulles) going to BOS and eventually going to SFO. Any Advice? Thanks In Advance.

Generally you should be fine in terms of weather. However, note that interline connections (connecting from one airline to another) at BOS often require changing terminals and reclearing security, so if this is the case make sure you leave yourself enough time. If you provide details of your flights, we can help advise on the logisitics.

borrowing a fluke crazy storm like we had early this fall, you should be fine.

I'm guessing this is all on United? If so that shouldn't be an issue. Just make sure you are not switching airlines (even if it is codeshared) as that often involves leaving security to change terminals.

Even if you're just flying UA, you may need to change terminals; some of their flights are out of C and some out of A. That said, for IAD-BOS-SFO, I think that's all out of C, but you should check.

You are fine any time of the year. Weather delays are few and far between as far as I'm concerned for BOS. October and November is very mild for weather. It is fall New England weather and winter has been starting around January and February. Might be a few leaves on the runway that's about all.
