US Airways Dividend Miles - [Targeted] USAir MC - Earn 5 miles/$ on Gas/Drugstores/Amusement Parks (7/1-9/30)

This bonus offer is for select US Airways Dividend Miles MasterCard cardmembers and is not transferable. Qualified cardmembers who register by July 20, 2012 will earn 5 bonus miles for every one dollar ($1) in new purchase(s) at gas stations, amusement parks and drugstores (that are not later returned or rescinded) that post to their account between July 1, 2012 and September 30, 2012 up to a maximum of 2,500 bonus miles.

Just got an email to register for this promotion. Maximum bonus is 2500 points, so looks like its only good for the first $500 of spend.

Thread transplanted to US Airways forum where there is a high concentration of Dividend Miles cardholders.

I got a postcard in the mail with this offer. It seems like they are targeting Discovecard which offering for the same quarter offering 5% cash back also on Gas Stations and Theme Parks. The only difference is the US Airways card earns 5 bonus miles per dollar on Drugstores while Discover cardholders earn 5% cash back on movies.

My offer: Earn 2 miles per dollar spent on purchases in the same categories -- to a max of 2,500 miles.

I must use their card too much to deserve the 5x bonus. ;)
