Don't know if it's illegal, or what recourse I would have, but I have a US plane scheduled to land at 11:20 am and I have to make a United flight at noon. Im not above running through the terminals, anyone familiar with DEN know or think I'm going to run into trouble? Obviously weather, etc is out of my control.

If on time, no problem.
US & UA on same concourse (if mainline)

Since US has moved to co-locate with UA in the B concourse, connections are much easier. That said, US is at one far end of B and, using the moving walkways, connecting UA Express gates are a ~10 min walk. Mainline gates are closer. I would advise getting a seat at the front of the plane and go to the bathroom before landing to promptly head to your next flight. I hope you have more time to enjoy DEN your next time through!

That's what I was hoping, some of the maps have them in the same terminal, guessing older maps don't. Thanks!

The replies above haven't answered the OP's question of whether this is a legal connection. I just googled "minimum connecting time Denver" and the answer is 50 minutes for domestic to domestic. So while it may be doable, it's not legal.

50 min appears standard, but there are a ton exceptions based on flight number, down to as little as 30 min. The OP will need to determine whether this applies, but it seems likely given the number of exceptions:

I received an email from US stating 40 minutes is a legal connection in DEN. So google is a liar! Thanks everyone for your help/advice.
