On Reuters (http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/06/24/us-aerlingus-turkishairlines-idUSBRE85N0BY20120624):
(Reuters) - Turkish national carrier Turkish Airlines (THYAO.IS) may be a potential bidder for Aer Lingus (AERL.I), just days after rival Irish airline Ryanair (RYA.I) made a surprise buyout bid, according to a report in the Sunday Business Post.
Turkish Airlines is assessing Ireland's 75-year-old former flag carrier and is "very interested" according to sources.....
Hmm didn't see that one coming but as with any airline "takeover" I believe it when I see an official announcement.
