GLBT Travelers - WeHo's The Abbey Bans Bachelorette parties

Sadly, it's only until marriage is legal for everyone.

It's become a bit too SBE-ish so hopefully this helps bring the place back to it's roots, yet still welcoming to ladies who behave.

Interesting. I guess they do not allow costumes in the Abbey anyway but maybe it will make a point and make some people realize...

There are a couple other bars that also ban them.

They have been banned from Cocktail in Chicago for a few years. A bar in New Orleans also has a sign up saying "No Bachelorette Parties".

I kind of have mixed feelings about it. I am sure it wouldn't be appreciated if a bunch of gay men went into a male strip club for women clients and decided to have a guys night out, it wouldn't be appreciated.
