OK, it isn't a typical trip report, but British Airways run Flight Safety Awareness Courses (http://www.ebaft.com/fsa/fsa.htm)at Heathrow that last a half day.

jmpawson organised a course for FT'ers, and 14 of us went along last week. I think that all of us learned something we hadn't known before about how to improve our survival chances in a crash.

Full report, including photos, can be found here (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/british-airways-executive-club/1359188-14-flyertalkers-involved-crash-737-near-heathrow-training-course.html). ExpatExp also posted some photos here (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/18798059-post261.html).

I don't think that there will be another FT one, but if you are willing to go on the public one then if you click on the link in the first post, on the right hand side it states:
Places are available at a cost of £162 incl VAT (£135 ex VAT) per person.

Are we allowed to take the safety cards with us after we are done with the training?

:D
