AirTran Airways A+ Rewards - Using Credit for BC-International

I was happy to see my airfare cost from BWI to CUN went down last week. :) I was able to score a $275 refund for the two tickets I bought. I was wondering can I use this credit towards a bc upgrade? I know with international travel I cant checkin online so can I use the credit when I am at the aiport?

You certainly can.. but why wait until checkin? Simply call at T-24 and upgrade using the credit file funds. (If BC is still available)

Thanks. I didnt know I could call 24 hrs before to upgrade the seat. I thought I had to do that at check in.

Also if I cant upgrade can I use the credit to pay for the check luggage?

Yes, credit can be used toward checked bags.

Thanks for all the info. ;) I was sure if they airport check in desk staff can apply my credit to my check bags when I check in.
