Qatar Airways Privilege Club - Inbound to DOH in Y, outbound to IAH in C, lounge access?

We are burning UA miles for a trip to Asia next month, on July 18th we fly SIN-DOH in Y arriving 11:55pm, departing to IAH in C at 09:00am. I notice different boarding card colors are given out. Will we be allowed to go directly to the Business Class lounge from the plane, or will we have to take the regular shuttle and then find the lounge? I hope we can get this resolved at Check-In or at the gate in SIN.

If you are flying on Qatar airways operated flight with the departure from Doha in Business class, you will be transferred to the Premium terminal upon your arrival at Doha airport.
Best regards,

Just to expand a little on Alex's answer;
You'll be given a burgundy boarding pass wallet for the DOH-IAH sector when checking in at SIN. However, on arrival at DOH there's a chance you will have to de-plane & use the economy bus rather than being allowed to use the Business class bus, as I've found out on several occasions. If this happens just keep showing the burgundy wallet to the ground staff & bus driver & (eventually) they'll deliver you to the PT.

yes this is what happened to me but you do get where you want in the end.:)
i have no doubt it will happen again but it really shouldn't

An alternative is to already show your SIN-DOH flight your onward boarding passes, and ask to be put together with the C pax when leaving the aircraft. This way you will save 20-30 minutes and make it to the PT directly. I have seen it done on previous MNL-DOH flight, where pax from Y were put in same bus with C, because they were flying C DOH-LHR.

Doesn't everyone get taken to the same place, whether they arrive in C/F or Y? The bus makes two stops, the arrivals terminal and the (economy) departures terminal, where passengers transfer to another bus to the premium terminal. Does the C/F bus leaving the plane also go directly to the premium terminal?
In any event, it might be difficult, because they leave the curtain between C and Y closed until all of the C passengers deplane, so, unless you were in one of the first rows in Y, there is a good chance that the C/F bus will have departed by the time you get to the bottom of the stairs.

when i travelled business class, a bus took business class straight to the pt.
when i travel economy bkk to doha and then business class doha to manchester i had to take the regular bus to the arrivals terminal, then on to the departure terminal and then to the premium terminal.
i did ask on the plane about the pt and was told to see the ground staff. hence the above round the houses:(

These are just more examples of the mixed service that Qatar provides. They claim 5-star, but expect 4 in the air (unless you have the right crew) and 3 from the ground staff (unless you get the right person). I only hope that Qatar is working on this...they have some of the people in place to accomplish this... However, most of their employees don't seem to have the autonomy to make the right customer service decisions, when they need to be made. Maybe they will have that fixed when the new airport opens, one can only hope... :)
In the meantime, I don't think they are going to put much effort into improving the bus connections at DOH, since the new airport is only six months away.
Don't get me wrong, the service the airline provides, is still very good. I will continue to recommend them, unless I experience otherwise.
