Virgin Atlantic Flying Club - Good Breakfast at Clubhouse at LGW?

Hi All,

We are flying on the VS015 leaving LGW at 1pm in September and flying UC for the first time. Giving Aer Lingus Business Class a try in December and BA Club World in May next year - trying before we settle on our preferred option :D

Quick question on the Clubhouse at LGW (I know it is not as good as LHR). Is the breakfast up to much - we usually eat at the Hilton at LGW South before going to departures but then we never usually have a lounge to go to.

Also - what time would aim to hit the clubhouse for a 1pm flight?

Thanks!

Yes they d a good breakfast in the LGW CH.

There is nothing to stop you eating at your hotel AND the CH - you are on holiday afterall!

As to arrival time it depends on how early you want to get there and how rushed you want to be that morning.

The 15 is a flight we often take and try and get there about 8:30

IMHO the staff at Gatwick outshine their counterparts at LHR; this is because the Clubhouse is only open for the morning and therefore the staff there are "regulars" so to speak.

By getting there early, we can often get a treatment - something that when there is a full Barbados flight leaving, is not always possible

Take my advice, skip the Hilton Breakfast and take 2 in the Clubhouse:D
