I have just returned from my annual vacation. We took, all in all ,6 flights with Etihad. One of the filghts is not showing as miles earned,whilst family members is. All the flights were booked together and all FF numbers used. I am at a loss as to how its not auto credited.
In addition I have 3 family members who travelled together and for each person,one segment each, a different one, is missing.
I find it hard to understand how it happens but what makes it worse is the serious lack of action when you try to claim the miles. Canned emails, no response,requests for info already sent.
Surely all this info is recorded on their systems and a quick check of a flight number and date would quickly support the claim. It seems to take forever to resolve and in the meantime you do not have use of the miles , which could be very important.
Its frustrating and time consuming and should be a lot easier.
