Le Club Accorhotels - Experience with Platinum and Mercure Grosvernor Adelaide, Australia

Hi all,

Just got a room for three nights in November for a really good price by way of the Accor website. It's the cheapest room for a total of $281 for the three night which i think is very reasonable. I also have Platinum status with the program and am wondering if I receive a room upgrade? As it is I'm happy with the room but wouldn't say no if they offered the upgrade.

Thoughts?

You can ask but as elite perks do not apply to Mercure (you can earn and spend points) they are under no obligation to give you an upgrade as per the T&Cs.

Doubt you would get an upgrade there - I have stayed a few times and never received anything from them.
