SAS EuroBonus - Is compensation in order?

I was recently on a trip from Chicago to Paris and back. Flew SAS. Outbound connected through Stockholm and the return through Copenhagen.
On the return flight, VOD system was basically unusable. It refused to start any shows or movies, the same with my girlfriend seated next to me (I had also purchased her ticket). The flight attendants restarted our systems 3 times. At the end of that she was able to watch a few shows on her's and I had access to one show. One (1). One movie for a 8:35hr long flight just doesn't cut it in my opinion.
I'm a only Eurobonus Sliver, so I know that I may not be all that valuable to them, but I do hold AA Gold and until recently, UA Premier. Personally I feel that some sort of compensation is due as when I spend several thousand dollars on a pair of round trip tickets, I expect everything to function flawlessly.
I emailed them at the beginning of the week but have yet to hear back. I tried calling several times throughout the week but have never been able to speak with someone, I've just been stuck in the que on hold.
Thoughts or advice?
Thanks in advance.

You won't get rich, but maybe a travel voucher and/or miles is in order.

I would expect to get a few vouchers - maybe up to €100 - but thats just a guess. Be prepared to wait for SAS answer for quite some time.

I had the same problem on SK925 a couple of months ago. They continually had to reset the system and apparently no one on the plane was to supposed to being using the AVOD while they were resetting the system or they would have to start all over again.
They didn't fix it until the flight was about half over. The frustrating thing was that my AVOD was working in Y but it was not working for some in Economy Plus so they continually reset to try to fix it, which resulted in only being able to watch 15 minutes of a film before they shut the system. Luckily I had a good book.

Patience - SAS Customer Relations usually responds in 2 weeks, sometimes 1 month. Your issue isn't really that urgent, so I don't really understand why you're contacting them repeatedly.

I was flying business class, I bought 2 round trips. On Friday evening, after I posted this, I got a letter in the mail from SAS apologizing for the problem and enclosing 400 € in travel vouchers.
Judging by a couple of the other posts it looks to be a somewhat common place error.
Thanks for all the replies.
All the best and may the wind be ever neath your wings.

You should feel very lucky, for the same problem I was compensated a few eurobonus points... :(
I guess it depends on where you live!

400€ sounds pretty good, I got 10,000 points 2 years ago when my AVOD in C went bust, and I was pretty satisfied with that compensation.
