Suites is a great product!! Almost 100% privacy, the top and bottom part of the blinds is translucent, made of cloth.

The SilverKris Lounges in Singapore do not have any printers!! So inconvenient!! Went T1's TG lounge to print!! CX and TG lounges all have!! Food so so...like "Chap cai ben" or mixed rice in food court in T2's lounge...

Kyo Kaiseki looks very attractive, but tastes very weird and inedible...so got to take the food from menu.

Ordered Japanese meal (special meal)(JPMLM) for breakfast: It is 2 course Kyo Kaiseki!! Don't order that!!

Ordered Seafood meal. Do not order that!! It is basically food with a lot of shrimps on top!!

BTC Salmon gratinated with feta and parmesan cheese in orange ginger sauce with vegetables and Mississippi rice for lunch. So so.

I find the food in the menu better. Try not to order BTC or special meals. If you are the only passenger in the cabin, its worse. Because they do not load the food in the main menu, unless there is another passenger in the cabin who did not order BTC or from special menu.

I think SQ First Class & Business Class is seriously overpriced.

In SQ Business Class, there is no amenity kit, not even on long haul. CX, TG all have. TG just need 4 hours and above in Business Class!! Now in Suites/First Class, they are giving out a cheap looking Kiehl's amenity kit.

SQ's strong points are the food and beverage and the IFE. A long list of drinks and elaborated meals. CX, TG, NH's meals are simpler, like their fruits, cheese etc..

For SQ lounges, basically, just nice decor. Full stop. Don't even have a printer!! There is a printer in EACH PC in CX's lounges in HKIA!! SQ's Private Room and First Class lounges don't have printers!! The buffet food in the lounges are like "chap cai ben" or mixed rice in local food court!! CX's lounges are so innovative, have noodle bar, coffee loft etc...and can keep you occupied for hours!! Same for other airlines' lounges like NH, BA, QF etc...Same for TG, which has a spa. Just that these airlines, their onboard catering and drinks is not as good as SQ's. EK has limousine transfers for their First & Business Class passengers. SQ's Suites passenger don't even have!

But SQ's Suites product is the best amongst all the airlines' A380. A lot of privacy and big. Only thing is SQ's A380 does not have a lounge.

Their onboard so called bar in Business Class is really lousy. Just Lay's potato's chips and famous amos chocolate chip cookies. For SQ, personally, I feel that if you fly Suites/First Class, their crew sincerely want to serve you. If you fly Business Class in large cabins and almost full, like A380, their crew is very fake. After the flight, you can see and hear them gossip about passengers ("SO SMELLY AH") etc... Even during the flight, you have this feeling of "troubling them" when asking for drinks and they will take notice of you and gossip amongst themselves.

I even had this in CX 2 weeks ago on HKG-SIN in J. I heard the crew said let's look to see whether there are any upgraders today, etc.

Look how much the F passengers have to pay to get on that flight and they are cheap about the kits?? not that the OP asked for 5.... if someone ask for 2, it should be fine. SQ F/A aren't nice. They also had the attitude that they are the best which is so not true/cool. Some of the competitor are similar in term of product and service: CX LH

So true. While SQ certainly has nice kits, they are definitely worth quite a bit less than what the OP payed! Especially since he was the only pax in F!
