Anyone else seen this?

I went on to AZ's website today to check-in for my AZ flight (which I bought direct through AZ's website and I got re-directed to a webpage with a KLM URL but branded with all AF logos and stuff. Had all my AZ flight info, just found it odd I was checking in online via AF for an AZ flight.

Full disclosure though - this is my first AZ flight, so this might be the norm and I just don't know any better.

Weird!

Usually it is through the AZ website, however I've heard that for some destinations you are redirected to either the AF or the KL systems. I'm not quite sure if it's for France and the Netherlands or rather destinations which AZ's online check-in doesn't support and so as a temporary fix they've asked the friends at AF/KL to deal with it. What was your itinerary?

To OP. Would be good to know which airport you were flying from originally. I suspect it may be for destinations where AZ check in operations have been transferred to AF/KL. At different points in time, I have had both (redirected to AF and AZ-own) on flights from NCE!!

Flying LAX-FCO-CTA. To FCO I had to check-in via AF site - redirected from AZ. Even my actual boarding pass is on AF paper. To CTA, I check-in via AZ mobile app and have an AZ e-boarding pass.

Totally strange, but what do I care, as long as I make it to CTA :-)
