Cathay Pacific Asia Miles - TPE turnaround to LHR, access to F check-in and lounge?

Greetings FTers, have been lurking around this forum a lot and gathered loads of useful info, thanks!

I will be doing a TPE turnaround to LHR in July which looks like that
0815 HKG - TPE (redemption J, U class)
1120 TPE - HKG (I class) - LHR (upgraded to Z class in F with miles)

I'm just wondering if they would let me use the F check-in in HKIA and F lounge whilst I'm checking in for the HKG - TPE leg in HKG?
Not a big deal but always wanted to try to use their first class checkin island in HKIA...:p

Simple answer - yes.

Hmm...I am seeing some problems here.

First, you are taking KA486 for HKG-TPE, which arrives into Terminal 2 scheduled at 10:00, while CX475 for TPE-HKG departs from Terminal 1. Even though the airside are link to my knowledge, the MCT is 90min, while you only have 80min. Since you are on redemption, I guess you can't change this to CX474, either?

Second, I recall reading from this forum that CX will only tag your bag (if applicable) for the HKG-LHR segment, but I am not sure if the KA counter would be able to do that (tagging to a ex-HKG FLT operated by CX).

A check indicates it is very likely, although as you probably know CX changes regional aircrafts all the time.

It's always fun when you do a turn around in TPE and its the same crew: "Back again so soon Mr.XXX!" :D

I had an experience where I was on a JFK-YVR-HKG-TPE-HKG-PVG doing a sector run when I was sitting on 76 sectors. The flight attendant told me they never seen someone do five consecutive sectors like that.

I'm not sure if you can checkin at F counters given the first ticket is HKG-TPE return in J. But you never know, they might be lenient.

CX 474 and CX 475 is 100% same aircraft and same crew! A turnaround flight for you, the crew and aircraft!

I did couple of times KA482-483 turn and when I left the plane I always say to ISM (wet lease CX) see you in half an hour
