Marriott Rewards (including Ritz-Carlton) - Scrub Island Marriott vs Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino

I'm hoping to find out the answers to a few questions:

At the Scrub Island Marriott, is there enough of an actual beach to walk on, and do they have lounge chairs, etc on the beach?

Is there anyway to order drinks from the beach?

Would swimming in the ocean off of the beach be a good experience (not diving or snorkeling, just enjoying the water)?

We are looking to dine more casually; would you say the restaurant options offer for this, and what would you say about food prices?

At the Aruba Marriott Resort Stellaris, is the construction going on there a real deterrence? And the same questions as above, but for this resort...

Yes, I did. New to this and saw that the other thread hadn't had any activity for awhile, so I figured that no one would see that post, so I started this one hoping to get an answer quickly.

My name is Russell Garrigan and I am the performance and quality assurance manager for scrub island. I am writing this email to respond to the questions you have.

Scrub Island beaches are best suited for lounging and finding quite and secluded places to enjoy the beach because they are separated by the hillside. Pavilion beach is situated at the entrance of our property and offer chaise lounges, drink service, and is a great place to swim, kayak, and snorkel. The 2nd beach we offer is Honeymoon beach which can only be reached by kayak which makes it great for exploring and bringing some water and food lets you lay out and enjoy the serenity of Scrub Island, the third beach option is North beach which has a pool and the One shoe beach bar, with three private chaise lounge sections that face towards the Caribbean sea they are great for couples. Also chaise lounges surround the main pool and north beach pool.

If you want to walk and explore the Island, We offer a prominent trail that wraps around Scrub Island and allows you to see beautiful views of the surrounding area, and makes for a great sunset experience.
