Qantas Frequent Flyer - Jetstar booking question

Hi all,

I was looking to book SYD-ZQN on the jetstar website and there's an option to buy a 'plus' package that in addition to some flexibility gives you QFF and tier points. Does this mean that you dont usually earn these unless you pay for this 'plus' package?

No you won't earn points or SC's without paying the extra for the plus package.

With the Jetrats 'plus' package you will need to check it that gets you BA miles & tier points. QF and BA ffp's are not the same
