bmi diamond club - Advice Please: Redemption Ticket Not Issued Properly

I made a reservation on United using cash and miles back in December for flights in July. One of the flight times changed and DC subsequently reissued the ticket.

United now tell me that the e-ticket has not been correctly attached to the booking and that, unless it's resolved, they wont let us fly. ICC tell me that all is well and that United need to sort it out.

I've gone back and forth between United Premier Line (I'm 1k with them) and the ICC. Both tell me the other should sort out the problem. My frustration is mounting.

Any tips? Is there someone sensible at BMI I can talk to who might be able to fix this?

I'd try viewing it on http://classic.Checkmytrip.com to see what the e-ticket details show.
And maybe on UA's website if it shows.

Then if there is a problem contact bmi Pre-Travel Support if the ICC aren't helping.

Probably for BD to sort out for you. See threads here about using Amadeus Asia site to see current ticket state, or just call BD UK HQ switchboard and ask for pre-travel support.

Thanks both. I spoke to a very helpful chap at pre-travel support who said they'd had a lot of similar problems with United redemptions. He passed my booking to a colleague who he said had been in regular contact with United to resolve things. Then he called me back within a few hours to tell me everything was sorted. Really good service. Just a shame that I had the trouble with the ICC in the first place.
