I will be arriving on UA at T- 4 and connecting to BD in T-1. If I purchase duty free liquor will I be able to take it from T-4 to T-1 without a problem with security? Thanks for the help.

You will clear security at LHR regardless of terminal change.

So, yes, you will have a problem.

Once your duty free is in a a sealed bag purchased within the previous 36 hours from a duty free shop in a US airport and you have your receipt you will be allowed to bring it through the security station on your internal transfer to TI in LHR

Thanks, INDABUNKA. I found the same information on the LHR information page. Looks like I will be OK.
