Not a bad little run. Especially escape some of the fall weather would be a plus. Three day weekend might be a little tricky. Thanks for the find OP

If you don't mind flying to/from MIA/SJU during hurricane season, it seems like a decent MR, though you can never predict a hurricane in advance...

Ding ding - and routing through MIA doubles your chance of a disruption, since it and PR are in the zone.

what dates did you search?

I booked 9/7 - 9/9. Mine was a direct flight so maybe that's why I didn't need a 3 day stay.. now just hoping that the weather behaves that day :/

This is always discount season for SJU...Hurricanes and general rain/still humid and nasty down there. I go twice a year to visit my grandfather and always regret taking price over better weather in winter.

Do you live in SJU? Believe me. That 10 day window is where every Hurricane that hit or pass near us is by that window. Do you want to bet?

I agree 100%-- that is the true peak--- but I would also say from Aug 15- Sept 25 with Sept 15-25 the peak---there have been some nasty storms in late August--- just look at the west africa map and anything that forms before 8-9 degrees north of the equator with luck will be in the caribbean in like 8-10 days

Excellent, I timed this mileage run/mini vaca perfect Sept 25 - 29, I'll be getting there with the end of the peak hurricane season.... :D

Is anyone still seeing this fare - or is it slightly higher now?
