In the fall I am headed off to Florence for a semester of study abroad. I will be taking two bags with me, the first a larger one that will hold most of my things and then a second smaller one that I can use for weekend trips throughout Italy and Europe.
I expect to fly mostly LCC's and therefore was wondering what might be the best suggestion for the smaller bag that I would like to carry on the plane. Both Ryanair and Vueling have depth limits of barely 7.75 inches (20 cm) listed on their websites and in my very limited search have only found bags that are 9 inches deep.
