Miles & More (Lufthansa, Austrian, Swiss, and other partners) - Paid upgrades and mileage credit

Sorry if this is answered elsewhere already. I was just wondering: if I pay for an upgrade on LH/LX/OS at the airport (with money - not miles / evouchers) do I then receive the mileage credit of the class I've been upgraded to?

It depends on the offer - OS for example in their web checkin offers had a disclamer that miles would only apply for the originally booked class. LH usually will credit the upgrade milage, but might require you to send in proof of payment.
