InterContinental Hotels: Priority Club & Inter-Continental Ambassador - Mini trip report: IC Seoul, Sydney, London and Frankfurt

A business trip encompassing four continents, eight cities and who knows how many different time zones (in twelve days) took me to each of these four cities recently. Prompted by a recent discussion of favourite IC hotels, I have to say (of the four) Sydney was my favourite. Upgraded to a two room Harbour View suite (as a SCC member) I have never seen such a spectacularly amazing view from a hotel room in my life. However, the service at this hotel tends to be scatty at times. The Grand Intercontinental Seoul was a close second, for its truly amazing Korean style bathing facilities and gym (including six lane pool) on the second floor. A dedicated SCC floor at this hotel is available, but I used my free w/end night certificate to upgrade to a Club IC Suite room. Very civilized, but I was surprised to see Aussie wine in the Club Lounge for evening canapes. The London Churchill (for its convenient location) pipped Frankfurt for third, although the breakfast spread at the latter (13 types of juice...) was one of the best I have ever come across. No more trips planned for the next few months, so I am looking forward to an upcoming stay at the IC in Yokohama.
