In addition, upon check out, an American Express Gift Cheque will be sent via FedEx to: I actually tried making that booking, but Hilton sent back their email stating the brg claim is invalid: first, hilton's site doesn't offer a "standard" room as skyauction's does. Second, skyauction's cancellation policy is for the room to be prepaid with one night penalty if cancelled, which doesn't match hilton's. So, no brg! jwchef1975 Jun 19, 12, 2:03 pm Room Cancellation Policy Hotel cancellations or changes made 1 day/s prior to check in time (Noon local hotel time), will be subject to 1 night/s fee No-show is subjected to 1 night/s fee On Hiltons website booked 2 Dbl Beds non-theater room. Non preipaid rate. In email was very clear to point out this was not an auction but rather a publicly avaialble rate through their book it now feature. I read the cancelation policy as you can cancel w/o penalty before noon 1 day prior to arrival. bitachu Jun 19, 12, 2:55 pm since i looked yesterday i also think aavacations also had a cheaper rate then what hilton listed... mikelat Jun 19, 12, 9:02 pm Should have noted which ORD Hilton is was in thread title. Airport Hilton isn't too interesting to everyone. lightangel Jun 27, 12, 10:06 am that's awesome deal mattyguy Jun 30, 12, 12:54 pm I was looking through this site and it seems there is a nightly fee, typically something like this Tax and service charges of $49.00 per room per night additional. and then Extra nightly surcharges apply: Fri $15, Sat $15 so while I might "win" an auction for $200, there is this as well not a terrible deal at $50-$65 a night +($130) but its not a steal in most cases, unless I am reading this wrong jwchef1975 Jul 1, 12, 8:17 pm I was looking through this site and it seems there is a nightly fee, typically something like this Tax and service charges of $49.00 per room per night additional. and then Extra nightly surcharges apply: Fri $15, Sat $15 so while I might "win" an auction for $200, there is this as well not a terrible deal at $50-$65 a night +($130) but its not a steal in most cases, unless I am reading this wrong Wrong. Matt this is the case for skyauctions. I am using their bookitnow feature where you simply book hotels much like expedia. Check it out there are some deals out there. flyfire Jul 15, 12, 7:46 pm The agent said that skyauction is a "voucher" site. jwchef1975 Jul 15, 12, 8:23 pm The agent said that skyauction is a "voucher" site. Seems like you drew a bad agent. Its a search engine that allows for instant confirmation etc...yes the auction portion is voucher driven, but this isa book it now search engine such as orbitz. |
