Hi all,

I am just going over check my trip.com and checking the various redemptions I have which are up coming, and as I went to print my US Air flight from DUB to NYC via PHL I noticed the below under the endorsements;

Issuing Airline: BD
Endorsments/Restrictions *M*INVOL REROUTE AS PER IATA 735D / DUE ASC ORIGINAL FARE RULES APPLY
Ticket status: e-ticket processed 09JUN12

Now what does this mean? Invol reroute??? I've checked the other bookings I have and there is no other mention or comment like this??

For what its worth, this was booked using miles & cash as were my other bookings.....should I be worried?

It just means your ticket was reissued following a change. Possibly a change in the flight number, perhaps?

Worry? No, no need, as long as the itinerary as listed is correct, or satisfactory.

This appeared on ours as well. I think it was a switch from Continental to UA which caused it.

Thanks for that...am I missing something here? This was a straight forward miles and cash booking??? Not a reroute? :confused:

Wow. You've booked your flight 15 years ago?

How, exactly, did you get 1997 out of the preceding posts?

Doesn't matter, any sort of re-issue always carries this wording

We weren't rerouted as such on our C+M either: just moved to the new UA flight number on the same route and schedule as the defunct CO service. Maybe different equipment too.

"US Air" I assume he's getting at. Touchy subject, airline names - "British" or "Brit Air" don't go down too well on the BA forum for example ;)

Aaaahhh!!!

But isn't it widely known as US Air?

There was no direct service from DUB to PHL in 1997. Either on US Air, or anyone else.
