I got on the blue line to DCA. Got off and checked in at the first class counter. I got my boarding passes and proceeded to security. No priority line for security since the line is usually short and security takes all but 5 minutes. I then head off to the United Club upstairs next to the Admiral's Club. Thanks to the new United MileagePlus Club Card, I have access to it and am presented with a Welcome Mr Jys55. THere's nobody in here and I get some muffins, juice, and bagels. THere is also coffee and soda. The bar was closed. The time I was there, only one other person was there.

This was the first time I boarded first because I have no status with AA. This was an award trip. I settled in and was amazed by the legroom of the seat. No pre-departure drink. 20 minutes into takeoff they served warm nuts and a drink.

Notice the ramekin. Afterwards they asked what we wanted for lunch. IT was either salmon salad or cheese enchilada. I went with the salmon salad. It tasted a little too fishy.

The hummus tasted bad. I really didn't like the food on this flight. Then came dessert and I was hoping for their ice cream sundae so I can drench with Bailey's, but all they served was chocolate chip cookie. :(

I don't have much pictures, but I can tell you right off the bat that the seats and legroom was much larger on the 737 to LAX than on the S80 to ORD. I can't wait to try the 757 first class seats to see how the seats are. I didn't take many pictures, but for lunch they offered either enchilada or bbq chicken salad. I chose bbq chicken salad and again it was bleh. Here's a picture of the legroom though.
