I have just noticed the rates at a Hilton I stay at fairly regularly are significantly cheaper when booking via BA.com, this will also give me double points on my BA credit card as well as spend towards my 241 redemption voucher.

The price on Hilton.com for a night is £83+tax (£99.6) vs £72 including tax via BA.com

My questions are:

1. Will this night still count as a stay for HHonors status purposes?

2. Can I still get Gold benefits (upgrade, exec lounge, breakfast, spouse free etc)?
(I have a 100% success getting upgraded so far at this hotel)

3. I don't expect to get points for the booking, but will I still get points for F+B?
If so, will I also get the double dip airline miles?

Questions #1 and #3 have also been answered in previous threads you have started.

Excellent, I see BRG is the way to go!!! :D

Thanks!

Although, I BRG'd once before when the difference was only £5 and I got 5000 points instead of a cheque.

Is it worth trying to BRG before I book over the phone?

Done, I just booked via Hilton.com and submitted a BRG, Hilton.com £150.48, Ba.com £72

Both are "great getaway" rates.

I took a screenshot from ba.com incase it decides to change itself overnight! :D

Wish me luck! :)
