I used to fly CDG-DXB-BKK frequently and seem to recall being on the A340 often. I miss that plane! Anyway I'm not sure it exists, but is there a way to search for aircraft and get a list of routes they are running? I've been thinking of trying to book a flight that goes wherever, or however far, but gets me a ride on every operational Airbus model in a round-trip pattern, sequencing it would be cool, or something equally bizarre...oh, the ideas that run through the mind while sitting in the Emirates lounge! Also, tracking down the first purchased A380, the hitching a ride on the latest delivered...well... Cheers, Powers

Wow what an idea. Take me? I have no idea how you'd go about doing such a thing. I imagine it will be very hard with operational differences/changes last minute. Anyway good luck and let us know how you get on.

One way would be to find a list of all A340s EK has then use this site http://data.flight24.com to see where the planes go. You can search by aircraft registration.

For example, the A340-500 with reg A6-ERJ has been to CMN, SEZ, NBO, DAR, ABJ, ACC, TUN, LOS and BEY lately.

http://www.theeksource.com is your friend.

Look under http://www.theeksource.com/airbusa340-500.html and all routes flown by the A340-500 in the last 30 days will show on the right hand side under current routes.

Or use http://www.theeksource.com/emiratestracker.html to track individual aircraft or flight numbers.
