Emirates Skywards - EK425 PER-DXB meal service in F and J

Hey there FT :)

I'm flying on EK425 in a couple of weeks time, PER-DXB. I've been watching availability like a hawk and it has slowly come down, and I am now seeing P/4 A/4 Y/9, everything else zero (i.e. only selling full Y and no J at all).

Part of me is hoping for an e-mail upgrade from Business -> First.

Just in case I do receive it...is anyone able to fill me in on the meal service for the 0600 departure? Just want to figure out if I should take up the offer if it arrives in my inbox.

I guess breakfast would be almost identical in J/F, is there a full lunch service in F before arrival in DXB, or a smaller, snack-style service?

I am not sure if EK send out e-mail offers to upgrade from J to F, only Y to J. At any rate, the F service will be dine on demand, so there will be several breakfast and lunch/ dinner options. You choose what you want when you want it.

Hope this is not too far off topic. I recently uploaded both J and F menus for EK412 DXB-SYD-AKL to the menus thread. I realise that this is a different flight routing and duration but thought you might find the comparison between the two menus interesting.

My [old, outdated from 2007] EK timetable says the meal service is Breakfast then Snack then Refreshments. If I had to guess, I would have assumed something more like EK 001 which leaves at a similar time and offers continental breakfast and then a full lunch service.
